Dunside is a proposed onshore wind farm in the Lammermuir Hills.

Dunside wind farm is a proposed onshore site set in the Lammermuir Hills and near to EDF Renewables UK’s Fallago Rig wind farm, and once operational the 15-turbine site would generate around 108MW of low carbon electricity. It would also generate significant funds to be invested in local projects throughout the Scottish Borders.

The proposed project is a culmination of over two years of environmental studies and was submitted for consent to the Scottish Government in June 2023.

Dunside wind farm aims to be recognised as a force for good ~ generating renewable energy; empowering local communities and supporting Scotland’s net zero carbon targets.

Ahead of the planning submission, public exhibitions have been held in June 2023 to give local residents the chance to view the final designs and ask questions to the EDF Renewables team.

Full details about the project is available from www.dunsidewindfarm.co.uk.
