Emerald is a proposed floating offshore wind farm in the Celtic Sea
The Emerald project is a 50:50 joint venture between Simply Blue Group and EDF Renewables. Located off the south coast of Cork, in the vicinity of the decommissioned Kinsale Gas Field, it will have a total capacity of c.1.3GW, powering the equivalent of over one million homes.
