As directed by regulation 23(4) of the Electricity Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) 2017, notice is hereby given that EDF Energy Renewables Ltd (EDF ER) (“the Company”) has been refused consent by Scottish Ministers to construct and operate a 12 turbine wind farm extension known as Fallago Rig Wind Farm Extension, with a ground to blade tip height of 126.5 metres, on land approximately 7.5km north of Westruther and 7.9km south of Gifford, in the Planning Authority area of Scottish Borders Council.
As directed by regulation 23(4) of the Electricity Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) 2017, notice is hereby given that Fallago Rig Wind Farm Limited (“the Company”) has been granted a variation to the section 36 consent by Scottish Ministers to operate the 48 turbine wind farm known as Fallago Rig Wind Farm, with a ground to blade tip height of between 110 metres and 125 metres, on land approximately 7.5km north of Westruther and 7.9km south of Gifford, in the Planning Authority area of Scottish Borders Council, for an additional 5 years.
